Senator Richard Stuart was first elected to the Senate in 2007 after serving as the Commonwealth's Attorney for Westmoreland County and being active in community affairs for many years.  In the Senate, Richard has distinguished himself on issues relating to transportation, criminal justice, and the environment.  Richard represents his constituents with hard work and conservative values that have defined his career in the Senate.
