Meet the Senator: 

Senator Frank Ruff's experience in government and business has made him an effective member of the General Assembly since 1994.  A retired owner of a furniture business in Clarksville, Frank understands the challenges faced by entrepreneurs who bring jobs to Southside Virginia.  A graduate of the University of Richmond, and a former member fo the Mecklenburg County Board of Supervisors and the House of Delegates, Frank was elected to the Senate in a special election in 2000.  Frank uses hsi experience  and committee assignments to focus on economic development, education, and workforce training in rural Virginia.
